I got into making my own preserves last year and add them to my Christmas gift hampers each year now. They make lovely gifts, but my labels were looking very amateur and not very professional so I decided to make my own and I thought I would share my efforts.
If you would like to download the labels you can do so below. The template is for a 21 label sheet.

If you want to make your own labels:
  1. Find a template for a label sheet.
  2. Draw a few pictures that you would like in the labels.
  3. Photograph the pictures.
  4. In photo editing software, crop the image and play with the contrast and brightness.
  5. Pick a font for your labels and insert the picture.
  6. Voila!

Your labels look great! I normally scribble on some pre-cut labels and then frown at them later when I realise that my handwriting is actually terrible... Must try this in the future!

What a brilliant idea! Thank you so much for sharing - I will be sure to try these when I next make a batch of something jammy!
