I love London. I don't say that enough. The Southbank is my favourite place to wander round as the Festival Hall and National Theatre and Southbank Centre always have free exhibitions and performances. On my way back from dinner on Thursday night I made sure I popped into the ground floor of Festival Hall and discovered this lovely book maze. I love their exhibitions as they are the type of thing you can very quickly have a look at on the way back to Waterloo station or can happily settle down and read a bit more into them with a drink from the bar. I often use it as a good place to meet friends after work.
This maze has been created by Marcus Saboya and Gualter Pupo and was mostly made with books from a charity shop. The idea is that you can wonder round and pick up books from the top to have a read. I just a mosey round but really loved the maze evolved as people picked up different books. I took photos of some of the books that seemed to stick out from the pile. The maze isn't that big, and not something you can get physically lost in and unfortunately finished on the 25th August but was really lovely.
