I have had a phenomenally busy month with lots of happy life events happening so I have shamefully not even entered my own challenge. I am pretty sure I will end up adding my own entry to the bottom of this page at some point as I have some blueberry schnapps that I really want to play with.
I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who entered and carried on supporting this challenge even though I was rubbish at publicising it.
First up we have an amazing entry from Caroline Makes with this Lime and Vodka Syrup Russian doll cake. Vodka and lime just sound like a perfect combination and I know my sister would love this cake. I will have to remember this post for her birthday next year.

Caroline also entered this Chicken and Tequila Tagliatelle. This is originally a Ron Douglas recipe from America's Most Wanted Recipes, which was adapted by Caroline. I would never have thought of this use for Tequila but it actually sounds so normal and like a natural combination that I should have been eating for ages!
Next up we have an entry from Stephanie from Rivereside Baking with this tasty sounding Apple and Ginger Cordial Malt Loaf. This sounds delicious and a combination my mum would definitely like. We are on for a bumber crop of apples this year so I will try this in the Autumn.
Janet from The Taste Space submitted this Beer-Soaked Sweet Potato Fries. I have been a fan of sweet potato fries for a long time and am very excited about trying this version.
Super Golden Bakes has entered these beautiful Double Raspberry Macaroons that feature either Elderflower or Raspberry Cordial. They look mouth watering and have been photographed so well (I of course also love the turquoise nail varnish in this photo!)
Massive thank you to everyone for entering and for bearing with my this month. Elizabeth from Elizabeth's Kitchen has kindly offered to host next month's challenge.
