As you may have noticed I have been a very busy birthday bee celebrating my own and several close friends and family birthdays. Here are just a few pictures to catch up with what I have been up to.
A Red Edition cocktail served at the Babylon Rooftop Gardens in Kensington. The cocktail contains, champagne, cranberry juice and is served with redcurrents on dry ice. Very dramatic. The food there was also very tasty and the lunchtime set menu is great value.
We managed to catch the end of the Olympic Champions parade where we could congratulate and talk to the athletes. We waited for two hours but was well worth it as I had thoroughly enjoyed the Olympics (I have even been inspired to take up running!).
We then had an epic birthday picnic in Greenwich overlooking London. The weather was just perfect and we caught the Clipper boat from the London Eye to Greenwich for just £4 which was really fun.
We then had a beautiful day out in Brighton just wandering around the Laines. We even found this knitty Brighton Pavilion in Temptation Cafe which served up yummy local food.
