I usually go a bit crazy with the decorations but this year I have tried to be a bit more restrained. Our tree is a black artificial tree that has fibre optic lights. I really want a natural tree each year as I love the smell of pine, but I was beginning to feel bad about cutting them down, and I could never get the potted ones to survive. We live in a small flat and therefore don't have much space.
This year I threw out the tinsel in favour of cleaner and lighter decorations.
I made paper snowflakes to adorn the flat and hung a few baubles from various things.
I would love to see your Christmas decorations too.

You will see that a strange furry creatures graces the top of our tree rather than a star or an angel. This is Scrat. He is a character from the Ice Age films. Greg and I absolutely adore his character in the films. I am not sure when he started being placed at the top of our tree but now it is just his automoatic Christmas position.
