I have just been on a quick trip to the beautiful German town of Heidelberg and thought I would share a few of my snaps. The town which runs alongside the river Neckar was not bombed in world war two and so retains most of its Baroque style buildings built in the 1700s. I was hoping to visit Homo Heidelbergensis but he is currently in storage.
I stayed at the Goldene Falke hotel which was amazingly central and had a lovely restaurant and friendly staff.
