It probably would have been better if I had printed the labels but I quite like the homemade feel.
These are now all sitting under my kitchen table ready to be part of my homemade hampers for this years gifts.

![]() As you will know by now I have made several jams and preserves as gifts for Christmas. I wanted a pretty way to wrap them and I don't want to pay for expensive pre-paid covers so I made my own out of origami paper and ribbon. The pack of origami paper was £1 and have 20 sheets. Each sheet did about 3 covers. The ribbon was left over from other projects or the ribbon tabs inside clothing. It probably would have been better if I had printed the labels but I quite like the homemade feel. These are now all sitting under my kitchen table ready to be part of my homemade hampers for this years gifts.

How pretty they all look and I agree so much better and cheaper than the commercial jam pot covers too....I used Christmas paper last year with garden string! NO, I LOVE the handwritten labels, I hand write nearly all of mine and they are the best! Yours add character to the jars!
