
![]() Greg and I are currently obsessed with this advert and the concept of catonkey. I am not one for naff ceramics but I definitely think that if I had the space (which we don't) I might collect novelty teapots. I remember when I lived in York there was an amazing little teashop which served all the tea in novelty teapots. There was also some amazing antique shops in York which often had great teapot finds. I was at the V&A yesterday and the best teapot I have seen so far is an ampersand teapot in the Postmodernism exhibition. I can't find a photo online and wasn't allowed to take photos. Sorry.

love novelty teapots! Started my own collection recently a tearoom with lots of teapots sounds like my idea of heaven!! X
